As a violinist and Bay Area local, Magali Pelletey’s artistic passion lies in chamber music and teaching. Thanks to her musical family, she was immersed in music-making with others from a young age. Her love for chamber music grew as she played in ensembles at the Crowden School in Berkeley, CA, and throughout high school.

In the fall, she will pursue a Master of Music degree at the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University, studying with Kathleen Winkler. She is a recent graduate of the Eastman School of Music, where she earned her Bachelor of Music degree in violin with Professor Mikhail Kopelman. Her musical studies have been guided by mentors including Heghine Boloyan, Itamar Zorman, Bonnie Hampton, Chee-Yun Kim, and the Telegraph Quartet.

In her free time, she enjoys going on walks, sewing, knitting, and perfecting her baking recipes. Magali also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology & Immunology from the University of Rochester.
